Ritec Rohr-Inspektionstechnik GmbH was founded in Haldenwang near Kempten (Allgäu) in 1992 and is today, one of the leading manufacturers of integrated, portable pipe inspection systems. Our company has made a name for itself for developing and producing robust, high-quality color TV camera systems for remote-controlled pipe, sewer and manhole inspection and is regularly represented at international trade fairs throughout the world. Since 2006, Ritec has been based in the first energy-efficient commercial passive building of the Allgäu region in the Hoyen industrial park in Haldenwang. The company´s environmentally friendly and modern production facilities, covering a site of some 800 m², provide ample room for its workforce and machinery.

Our history
The 25th anniversary of the company is celebrated with customers and business partners with a 2-day event. The first day is celebrated with a big party. On the 2nd day, there is an informative in-house exhibition with demonstrations and information.
Ritec enters the field of individual vehicle equipment and has had competent partners at its side since the beginning.
The RiCubio® S is presented at IFAT, thus laying the foundation for the innovative RiCubio® series.
Takeover of Ritec by Mr. Thomas Ruess.
The RiFlexio is now available as the smallest bendable pan and tilt camera with a free field of view - the RiFlexio S. Ritec has thus secured the pioneering position in this field to this day.
Ritec presents the RiFlexio, an axial camera with a complete free field of view.
Mr. Thomas Ruess joins the company as managing director. He manages Ritec skilfully and successfully to this day and with a good feel for the requirements of the constantly changing market.
Move to the new company headquarters. The company moves into the first commercial passive house in the Allgäu and now has plenty of space for people, machines and progressive new developments with an area of 800 m2.
Ritec develops the RI 2930 N portable camera. It is the smallest camera on the market. Two years later, it is adapted to American conditions with minor changes and thus ensures the successful development of the American market.
Ritec Rohr-Inspektionstechnik GmbH is founded by Mr. Siegfried Idler.
The company has been based in Haldenwang in the Allgäu region from the very beginning.
